NEW CRICHTON CRYPT TOURS

The Crichton Crypt Tours – October 2018

Presented by Mostly Ghostly in association with The Crichton Trust

From October 2018, members of the public can sign up to enjoy a historical tour at The Crichton. These October tours, led by Mostly Ghostly, will provide guests with the opportunity to visit The Crichton Memorial Church, Crypt and Undercroft and learn more about the history of The Crichton. There is the option to enjoy soup and sandwiches at Neuro’s Bistro after the tour.

Kathleen Cronie from Mostly Ghostly said: “We’re thrilled to have been invited to provide tours at The Crichton and are delighted to announce that we will launch The Crichton Crypt Tours on Friday 19th October. The tours will reveal some of the fascinating characters and events associated with The Crichton from its earliest beginnings, including an insight into the life of Elizabeth Crichton and the history of Easterbrook Hall. From there, guests will have a unique opportunity to explore The Crichton Memorial Church, Crypt and Undercroft, where they will discover the story of this beautiful building, view historical artefacts and hear a collection of ghostly tales and legends connected with The Crichton. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to The Crichton Trust for all their support and look forward to welcoming our first guests to the tours.”

Tour dates:     Friday 19th October and Friday 26th October

Tour times:     6:30pm to 8pm – please meet outside Easterbrook Hall

Followed by Neuro’s Bistro at 8pm (optional)

Places are limited so booking is essential
